What We Do
We focus on the healthcare profession and the supporting services on their journey to high reliability and high value patient care. We achieve this by using internationally recognized standards based on risk and quality. Through these frameworks we are able to educate, train, and advise our clients on how to best meet their requirements and exceed their performance goals.
Our team of risk and quality advisors bring healthcare experience from working in a hospital and the healthcare profession.
We offer different types of education and training about risk, quality, and management systems. The training can be tailored to meet your needs.
Audit / Survey
Auditing is required of every management system. Let our auditing experience help you improve. An outside set of eyes can add real value.
Changes in reimbursements, increased risks and government mandates, it’s mandatory that your revenue cycle be aligned. Knowledgeable and independent advice is invaluable.
Download the free tools you want to help you along your journey to high reliability. The tools can help you with your quality improvements and also risk-based thinking.
We write articles for several publications about Risk in healthcare, NIAHO, High Reliability, and international standards like ISO 9001. Please enjoy and share as you like.
ISO 9001:2015 Transition
At BlueSynergy we recognize that transitioning to a new ISO standard may raise some questions. It's a significant change in the ISO requirements (over 40%). These changes will affect how your accreditation interrelates with other departments/processes in your hospital, such as Finance, Risk and Contracting. You have less than two years to transition to the new standard.
The relationship between your DNV GL NIAHO accreditation and HIPAA/HITECH is more evident with the release of ISO 9001:2015 and recent updates from the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). At BlueSynergy, we will conduct a full compliance assessment to the 169 requirements of HIPAA/HITECH, based on the protocols given by HHS. Healthcare is the number target for cyber attacks
