In 2012, we met as contracted consultants working on the largest ISO 9001 implementation in healthcare. During this time of implementing a QMS in over 130 hospitals simultaneously, we noticed something curious: the traditional implementation method (intense workshops for documentation, leadership, and auditor training) used for the past several years in healthcare simply was not effective. We realized that we could no longer put ISO into healthcare, we had to put healthcare into ISO…thus our fresh perspective and a means for sustaining the efforts We started talking about the need to provide better deliverables to healthcare if we expect better results We understood the importance and benefit of our intimate knowledge of nuclear and aerospace to your patients safety Having worked in hospitals and in quality, we put our heads together and formed BlueSynergy Associates, LLC.
